Role Overview



The Business Development Manager (TSM) for Indonesia (70% of the time) and the Philippines (30%) is responsible for driving sales growth, market share expansion, and brand leadership for Oregon® Carlton® Tiger ® saw chain, guide bars & accessories within the forestry and professional cutting segments. This role manages distributors & dealers’ relationships, develops key forestry and industrial accounts, and executes market strategies aligned with Oregon Tool’s regional objectives.



The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader with strong distributor management experience, deep understanding of forestry or outdoor power equipment markets, and the ability to work across diverse Southeast Asian markets.



 



Key Responsibilities



Sales & Market Development




  • Achieve annual sales, margin, and market share targets for saw chain and guide bars across Indonesia (70%) and the Philippines (30%)

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with APAC strategy

  • Identify and develop growth opportunities in forestry, logging, plantation, arborist cutting applications

  • Drive product mix optimization



Distributor & Channel Management




  • Manage and develop appointed distributors & dealers, ensuring full alignment with Oregon Tool policies and objectives

  • Conduct regular business reviews covering sales performance, inventory levels, forecasts, and market intelligence

  • Ensure effective execution of pricing, promotions, POS programs, and brand standards

  • Support distributor sales teams through joint calls, training, product demonstrations, and field support



Key Account & End-User Engagement




  • Build strong relationships with key forestry companies, contractors, government bodies, and large end users

  • Support major tenders, project-based sales, and wholesale opportunities

  • Act as the technical and commercial link between end users, distributors, and internal teams



Product, Training & Marketing Support




  • Deliver product and application training on saw chain and guide bars to distributor sales teams and key customers

  • Support new product launches, trade events, demos, and forestry field trips and events

  • Gather and share market feedback, competitive insights, and application trends with regional and global teams



Reporting & Administration




  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, and territory reports

  • Monitor inventory health, stock turns, and demand planning to avoid overstock or shortages

  • Ensure compliance with commercial policies, contracts, and ethical business standards



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 5–8 years of sales & business development experience in forestry, outdoor power equipment, industrial tools, or related sectors

  • Proven experience managing distributors or indirect sales channels in Southeast Asia

  • Experience working across Indonesia and the Philippines is strongly preferred

  • Fluent in English & Chinese (+ Bahasa Indonesian speaking distinct advantage)

  • Willingness to travel extensively within Indonesia and the Philippines (50–70%)

理想候选人需具备实战型销售管理能力、丰富的经销商管理经验,深谙林业或户外动力设备市场,能够胜任东南亚多区域市场跨地域业务开展。



 



主要工作职责



销售与市场拓展




  1. 完成印尼(70%)、菲律宾(30%)区域锯链、导板年度销售额、利润率及市场份额目标;

  2. 制定并落地辖区销售规划,匹配亚太区整体业务战略;

  3. 挖掘林业采伐、人工林场、树木养护切割等场景的业务增长机会;

  4. 推动产品销售结构优化。



经销商与渠道管理




  1. 维护并培育签约经销商、代理商,确保业务开展完全契合奥里根工具规章制度及战略目标;

  2. 定期开展业务复盘,涵盖销售业绩、库存水位、销售预测及市场情报分析;

  3. 确保定价政策、促销活动、终端陈列方案及品牌标准有效落地执行;

  4. 通过联合客户拜访、专业培训、产品演示及实地业务支持,赋能经销商销售团队。



重点客户与终端客户维护




  1. 与林业龙头企业、工程承包商、政府机构及大型终端客户建立稳固合作关系;

  2. 协助跟进重大招投标、项目制销售及大宗批发业务机会;

  3. 担任终端客户、经销商与公司内部团队之间的技术及商务对接枢纽。



产品、培训及市场支持




  1. 为经销商销售团队及重点客户提供锯链、导板产品及应用场景专业培训;

  2. 协助新品上市、行业展会、产品演示、林业实地考察及线下活动落地;

  3. 收集并向区域及全球团队同步市场反馈、竞品动态及行业应用趋势。



报表与行政事务




  1. 精准编制销售预测、更新客户管理系统、输出辖区业务报表;

  2. 监控库存健康度、库存周转效率及需求规划,规避库存积压或缺货风险;

  3. 严格遵守公司商务政策、合同条款及商业行为准则。



任职资质与工作经验




  1. 本科及以上学历,商务、市场营销、工程类或相关专业优先;

  2. 拥有5–8 年林业设备、户外动力器械、工业工具或相关行业销售及业务开发从业经验;

  3. 具备东南亚市场经销商管理、间接销售渠道运营的成熟实战经验;

  4. 有印尼、菲律宾跨区域工作经验者优先考虑。
