Job Description

1. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic global legal organization of a leading global fast fashion E-Commerce group. As an in-house legal counsel, your role will be to facilitate the Company’s local business in theNorth Asia & Middle East of Asia and international growth by working with new and existing business and legal teams around the world.

2. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, team-oriented, solution-focused and a quick learner. You’ll work across the broad range of commercial, corporate, IP, litigation and HR disciplines required in our fast-growing global business.

Responsibilities

 Provide full scale of legal and regulatory advice to the Company with regard to its regional business and operations;

 Partner and work with other SHEIN lawyers and business colleagues regionally and globally to drive alignment and share best practices;

 Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, license, sourcing and other agreements, as well as related transactional matters;

 Monitor regional legislation development, and provide business compliance guidelines and relevant update;

 Oversee significant litigations and disputes in relevant jurisdictions;

 Provide legal and compliance training;

 Be proactive in the provision of legal consultancy services and guidance to regional business developments with regards to a broad range of products, services and issues;

 Manage corporate secretarial requirements, communicate with authorities and maintain necessary fillings; and

 Manage legal budget and external legal counsel.

 Manage a cross-boarder legal & compliance team

Key Qualifications

 Post qualification experience needs to be 8-10 years. Prior experience in both law firm and in-house legal team would be an advantage;

 LLB or above from an accredited law school;

 Highly self-motivated, good interpersonal skills;

 Ability to counsel senior management on complex legal matters; able to reduce message to material issues without over-simplifying or having material omission.

 Excellent knowledge and experience of regulatory and compliance requirements relating to E-commerce or digital business in the North Asia & Middle East of Asia, including but not limited to marketing, labeling and intellectual property, corporate transactional experience;

 Ability to work across different jurisdictions, different cultures and multi-skilled teams;

 Set an example and ensure high ethical, legal and compliance standards; Ability to endure working pressure, juggle competing demands on time and attention and meeting challenging timelines; Fluent in both oral & written English & Chinese. Japanese or Korean is a plus.

2. 与其他 SHEIN 法律同事及业务团队于区域及全球范围内合作，推动法律合规统一并分享最佳实践；

3. 起草、审核及谈判各类商业合同、许可协议、采购协议及其他相关协议，并处理相关交易事项；

4. 关注区域相关法规动态，及时为业务提供合规指引并更新相关信息；

5. 负责所辖区域的重大诉讼及争议处理；

6. 提供法律及合规培训；

7. 积极为区域业务发展中涉及广泛产品、服务及问题方案提供法律咨询与指导；

8. 管理公司各类工商秘书事项，与有关部门沟通并维护必要的文件备案；

9. 管理法律预算及外部法律顾问；

10. 管理跨国法律与合规团队。

资质要求

1. 取得律师资格后有 8-10 年相关工作经验，具有律所及企业法务团队双重经验者优先；

2. 具有 LLB 或以上学历；

3. 高度自驱，具备优秀的人际沟通与协作能力；

4. 能够就复杂法律事务向公司高层管理团队提供专业建议，能够将关键信息简化并准确传达，无漏报或过度简化；

5. 精通北亚及中东地区电商或数字业务相关法规及合规要求，包括但不限于平市场推广、知识产权、诉讼、合规等经验；

6. 能够跨不同司法辖区、文化背景及多技能团队开展工作；

7. 以身作则，确保团队遵从高标准道德、法律及合规规范；

8. 能承受工作压力，兼顾多项事务并按时完成工作；

9. 中英文听说读写流利，拥有日语或韩语能力者优先。
