【Position Summary】
We are seeking a strategic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to take full ownership of our business expansion in the Brazilian energy storage market. You will serve as the key pioneer for our company in Brazil, with the primary objectives of promoting our residential, C&I, and utility-scale energy storage solutions, establishing strategic partnerships with energy developers, utility companies, EPC contractors, large commercial & industrialclients, and distribution partners, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Brazil's energy market landscape, regulatory policies, and energy storage business models.
【Key Responsibilities】
• Market Strategy Development: Conduct in-depth analysis of the Brazilian energy storage market (focusing on distributed generation, backup power, energy trading, grid services, etc.) and formulate and execute market entry and expansion strategies.
• End-to-End Sales Management: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation and client engagement to technical solution validation, commercial negotiation, contract signing, and project delivery support.
• Key Account Development: Focus on acquiring and developing relationships with major energy developers, distribution companies (e.g., Enel, CPFL, Neoenergia), large commercial & industrial enterprises, mining companies, and renewable energy project owners.
• Solution Selling: Design economically and technically viable energy storage system solutions to address client pain points regarding energy costs, power supply reliability, and renewable energy integration, including preliminary consultation and financial modeling analysis.
• Partner Ecosystem Development: Identify, onboard, and manage a network of local system integrators, EPC contractors, distributors, and consulting partners to build a robust channel system.
• Policy & Market Intelligence: Closely monitor policy developments from Brazil's electricity regulator (ANEEL), electricity market rules, incentive mechanisms, and auction information to identify commercial opportunities.
• Cross-functional Leadership & Coordination: Act as the frontline project leader, coordinating internal technical, solutions, engineering, and finance teams to deliver optimal solutions and support to clients.
【Qualifications & Requirements】
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
o Essential: Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience within Brazil's energy and power sector. A proven track record of successfully selling energy storage systems, photovoltaic power plants, diesel generator sets, electrical equipment, or energy management solutions is highly preferred.
o Essential: Established customer network and project resources within Brazil's energy industry (generation, distribution, major power consumers, or leading EPC firms).
o Strong Plus: Knowledge of financial modeling for energy storage projects (e.g., IRR, LCOE analysis) and/or experience working for a multinational new energy company (particularly a Chinese enterprise).
• Knowledge & Skills:
o Languages: Native/Fluent Portuguese, Fluent English (mandatory).
o Proficiency in complex project sales and value-based solution selling methodologies.
o Excellent executive-level engagement, business negotiation, and technical presentation skills.
o Familiarity with Brazil's power market structure, regulatory framework, and key energy players.
o Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
